Brig. Gen. Randy Kee, commander of the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia, threw out the ceremonial first pitch at the local little league annual season opener Oct. 15.
General Kee was invited by game officials in conjunction with the U.S. Embassy and was amongst other notable guest during Friday's event that was sponsored by the American School located in the host nation's capital.
The general, a devoted baseball fan, was pleased to accept the invitation. "I was honored and privileged to have the opportunity to throw the first pitch at the little league season opener," said General Kee. "I am very grateful to be able to show a small amount of support for such a great institution while serving here as a guest in this great country."
